Not quite a hotel, and most certainly beyond a roadside budget-bunk, this one-of-a-kind architectural statement is anything but ordinary. Right outside Rapid City, South Dakota, this one-bedroom retreat sits among tall pines and passing wildlife, overlooking a private valley. Deliberately simple in design, its floor-to-ceiling glass lets the landscape do the decorating. An arrangement of refined design and rural character.
